Culture Night in the Chester Beatty Library Friday 18 September open until 10pm

We have a great line-up of events for our visitors old and new on Culture Night, Friday 18 September until 10pm.

At 6pm join our Curator of the Western Collections, Dr Jill Unkel, for an In Focus Tour of newly opened temporary exhibition Wicked Wit.

Take a free guided tour of the Library’s permanent exhibitions @ 7.30pm or 8.30pm.

Family Activity Packs and Teens & Adults Drawing Packs will be available from 6 to 9pm.

The Silk Road Cafe and the Library’s Gift & Bookshop will also be open.

Songs of Jazz and Blues Legend Billie Holiday with Edel Meade and Band @ 8pm. Award-winning jazz vocalist, Edel Meade will perform her own interpretations of Billie Holiday’s music. With her gorgeous vocals and irresistible charm, this promises to be a highlight for fans of jazz and blues.
